Yipiyap is a peer to peer tutoring company that recruits sixth formers to take a gap year before uni or employment, which they spend tutoring other young learners in primary or secondary schools. Everyone gains from the experience: the young tutors develop a whole range of skills while their younger ages make them relatable to their students, which helps with their learning. I’m working with Yipiyap to promote their work to the national and education trade press as well as the local media in the areas where schools or tutors are based.
